From time to time, I will be posting watercolor tutorials describing and illustrating various principles of watercolor painting.  The tutorials are illustrated Word files, based on Word 97-Word 2000 format.  Your email comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Painting with Color and Natural Light

This tutorial is designed to introduce and discuss key principles for understanding and application of the use of color and natural light in watercolor paintings.  The tutorial is in two parts, followed by a demonstration painting which applies the principles of the tutorial.  A landscape photograph is included so that tutorial users may create their own painting using the principles of the tutorial.

This tutorial resulted from an invitation by the Watercolor Studio of the online site Wetcanvas.com for the featured tutorial for January 2010.
